Run with dear Yunxin

Today was YX 2nd run for the full WCP route... ran with her, her pace today is much better than the first time... but we took a whopping 42mins for 4.7km... wah. Cannot believe it, 7 more mins i can run 10km liao.
Well, no choice at least i made her run, gotta start sumwhere, i think 4.7km is the longest she ever ran in her life. My plot is to train her to slowly slowly ran long distance so next time we can run together. No choice, now all my running kakis slowly slowly afraid of me liao... especially OMP, kana sai. As for Yunxin, bo bian, she took the "for thick and thin, for better and worse" vow with me liao so cannot siam.

Gambling session... can't believe i'm there...

Justin jioed gambling session at his place at night, well for ppl who knew me well enough are aware i dun gamble by nature, coz i'm not very gd at it, not very experienced at it and i'm not very keen on spending money without exchanging for an item... (gambling is those that you spend lotsa money in a short time with exchange of totally nothin). I decided to attend the session anyway, but with the intention of a gathering with the old boys at galantclub.

I was 1 of the first to arrive, justin wasn't even home yet, the maid opened the gate anyway and we park our cars into the compound, it was my first visit to justin's new place (not that new liao.. 1 yr old i think), it was huge!!! while waiting, see see look look, molested the VOI (vehicle of interest), the Ferrari F430, it wasn't locked, so juz helped myself and sat in. I simply loved every inch of the car, the leather dash, with carbon fiber center panel, the gorgeous steering wheel and every damn thing bout it... My first time inside a Ferrari. Haha being a fan of Ferrari, sorri i didn't even bothered looking at the GT2 or was it GT3 beside it... haha wasn't doin justice to it although it being the faster car...

Stepped into the house, went up the first flight of stairs, wham!! the whole storey belongs to justin... no way can i describe it can really paint the picture.... damn big and and and.... wah, a 5 star hotel suite would look dim compared to justin's. Made justin take me for a spin in his F430, it's simply fantastic, although a ferrari looks wide from the outside, but when you are in the cockpit, its dimensions are juz like a normal 2 seater, very low ride height, grippy seats, very stable car that allows you to really go to high speeds in great confidence. The whole car is so glued to the road. Plus the forever encouraging roar of the engine right behind. It doesn't really matter which car is faster than her. Coz it's juz damn damn damn shiok!!!

Turnout was quite disappointing tonight, only dragon, hongci, big justin, andy, guan justin and me from galant club... melvin mia-ed, keith busy with mahjong elsewhere, jason needs to rest, andrew, porky, kookoo and blah blah blah all didn't come. Was really looking forward to catching up with them.... Played 'In Between' a new game to me whic could be a very normal game to most of you, i dun gamble, remember? Learn as i play, a resulted losing very quickly and the suayness really helps, 'kiang' a couple of times so loss was doubly quick... haha. Seems like the spin in the ferrari wasn't really free afterall. Ran off early coz i need to SAIL next morning which is a couple hours away from now... So my frens... entrust another day of peace to me... haha

20KM @ ECP

Ran again at ECP this morning after 2 or 3 weeks, couldn't really remember... Siswi joined us today, started the run at 6.45am coz siswi needs to rush for service. Started off on a healthy speed, all 3 of us were running together for the first 10km, met leonard on the way running his 10-12km (ditch the 10km lah you shd be joining us). Onroute back, we start running at our own pace, today abit off from, right foot hurting most probably from yesterday's badminton session. (not really very effective to have badminton on sat and 20km run on sun, but no choice leh, hard to give up either one)
Really started to feel the taste of fatigue kicking in at 15km point, stomach feeling damn hungary, foot hurting, freaking thirsty... the many many factors that i almost wanted to give up to start walking. But my stand... i have 20km b4 and i shall be able to do it again, have never gave up and shall never start..... argh... press on. Finally finish the run, muzhong nor siswi was in sight... did some slight stretching, massaging my feet still no sight of them... waited almost 30mins then see them walking back.... THEY GAVE UP!!!! wah lau... they started walking at the 15km point... Siswi if you are reading this... ---> UNBECOMING!!! haha

Well to my surprise, my timing improved a little...

Found out weiye can do 20km in less than 2Hours... my next goal...

Happy Birthday for my Gals...

For those who dun know yet, both my gals have the same birthdays... So its the day of the year again for both of them, (whats matters most to them are having a birthday cake) my gals are infatuated with cakes, dunno y... i dun like cakes....

Well reis suggested swensen's to celebrate her birthday and thats y we are there... ordered them a cake, had our meal there. Again, its reis who says she wants a party hat. Initially she wanted all of us to wear a party hat... OMG!! At swensen's?? Luckily my wife was smart enough to bring only 2, so not enough for of us... haha, that spared us...

Coincidentally, my mum, my wife, my sis all bought them books and dvds for their birthday, when reis excitedly open up her first present, she was happy, when she opened up her second, she mumbled: "Har? Books again ah?" We were laughing away... Before that my mum and YX checked out wat each other bought, when they knew all were books my mum told me she wasn't sure if they will be disappointed. So i brought them to Toy R' Us to get them some toys so its more like a proper kids birthday.... haha

@ Marina Barrage

Shizhan jioed for Marina Barrage, never been there before, YX wanted to bring the gals there too... so off we went - MARINA BARRAGE...

Didn't really know what it is too, went there.. parking was terrible, reminds me of the past CAR-nival that Marina south use to hold.... so damn crowded. I HATE CROWDS!!!

Finally secured a parking lot, beat the crowd, took some pics and enjoy the not so serene scenery... If you have not been there, try to choose a weekday afternoon when the whole world is working, then i think you will enjoy it. Cannot believe the amount of ppl there on a sunday. @#$%^
