My 6th Wedding Anniversary @ Min Jiang

Its our 6th wedding anniversary today, i juz sailed back moments ago, went home changed up picked my wife, gals and went for dinner for a simple celebration.
Jess said she wanted chinese food so i shortlisted afew...

Li Bai @ Sheraton Towers - Too lazy to travel till there coz ard evening, the traffic condition there is disastrous.

Lei Gardens - Recommended by Moses, went online read some reviews and didn't felt really keen to go.

Prima Tower - A place we quite liked, but haven been there since a year ago, so do some reading up again... wah the reviews were jialat... Didn't know if things really changed after a year, better dun try for tonight.

Minjiang @ Rochester - Gd food, near our place, nice ambience.. so off to Minjiang we went...

While waiting for the food, took some random photos with the crappy iphone camera.

First dish - The confirm muz eat peking duck... 3 methods of eating,
1) with sugar
2) conventional with the sweet sauce and cucumber
3) szechuan style...

Although its dinner, couldn't resist ordering some 小龙包s and they're gd!!

Some more pics in midst of dinner...

This is wat we opt for to deal with the meat of the peking duck, fry it with noodles... quite yummy too...

Hah... the fish we ordered, Dual style fish of sumthing, half fried, half steam... didn't expect it to be served in fine dining style... coz its charged by its weight... $12/100g... nabei no head no tail... initially the served 2 plates, 1 for me and 1 for jess... told me is fish.. i was like.. nabei... chop me till liddat... then they serve 2 more... for reis and cadis... hmmm.... still not convinced it was a whole fish although they charged me for 1...

Crab roe with Kai Lan Miao... and its real crab shredded... you can see the shredded part of the pincers too...

Pork ribs with honey glazed sauce... $10/pc

And lastly desserts... mango and durian puddings... the durians are MUST TRY for durian lovers!!

Photo sessions again...

I prefer Min Jiang during weekdays... its so quiet and the staff are so attentive and pleasant... some things you dun even haf to ask, and they are brought to you through observations... Because Jess dun eat seafood, missed out on the prawns, scallops, crab and squid items...

So it was a successful 2190 days/ 52560 hours/ 3153600 mins since we got married and still counting...
