On Leave? Like more siong...

On leave today, but seems like the whole world has the day planned out for me liao... again...
Mum and aunt Eunice meeting for shopping and supposingly later mum going for medical review with dad at TTSH... and after the HFMD saga with my gals, they dun wan them near any hospital... Thats means i have to entertain/babysit my gals whole day!!!!
Brought my gals to Vivo, once 1 park... Cadis first one to chut pattern...

Cadis: Daddy, bao bao.. i'm very tired...
Me: No, you wana come shopping, cannot always bao bao, grow up liao, you gotta walk.
Cadis: (Pointing to my car boot happily) Daddy you got pram in your car? I wana sit pram.
Me: Nooooo No... we'll juz walk.
Cadis: (Getting pissed and started rattling off) Daddy!! I tell you i'm so tired and i wana sit pram mah, then you got pram in your car you dun wana take out then i cannot sit but i'm so tired!!!! (Blah Blah Blah... so fast that i cannot even make out whats she toking about)
Me: (Laughing non stop) No. (and started walking off)
Cadis: Sulks...

Brought them for lunch at food republic, then bring them go Timezone... WTF!!! I like afew years never go arcade, the stupid games cost $1.50 to $2.00 each game!! Extortion... Bo tai bo ji spend $20 credit in the damn place for a 4 year old and a 3 year old to squander. Dun think they even know what they are playing lor...
Then brought them to Pets Safari to entertain them awhile.. saw the dogs for sale and went to look at the silly hamsters running in their enclosure.

Me: Hey Reis, come see these hamsters running ard...
Reis: I see, I see, daddy, why the hamsters running ard?
Me: Becoz they too fat lor... thats why need to run to keep fit.
Reis: Why they need to keep fit?
Me: So they wun get too fat and die lor...
Cadis: (Exclaims exciting at the other enclosure) JIE JIE!! JIE JIE!! COME AND SEE!! WHY HERE DUN HAF ANYTHING ONE???

After that, go Toys'r'us see see look look... go playground waste some time while they enjoy... wanted go ben and jerry's for waffle ince cream but bo waffle liao so went to secret recipe for cheesecakes instead...
Met up with Mum and dad in the evening, hang ard vivo till dinner.... As my serial crazed mum shops as TS for more serial, the gals went for more piggyrides...

I FUCKING HATE CBT... AND I REFUSE TO BE BO!!!

What fucking nonsense.. juz because 1 x kuku says can try reducing BO estab, we immediately follow. KNN why can't they juz think of the victims... Its not juz a 1 time thing, this is some major shit...

This week's run..

After 3 weeks never run, east coast park, we are back!!!

Overslept this morning, suppose to pick Roy at 6.10am but oni woke up at 6.30am... i suspect Jess shut off the alarm again, but she denied, muz be dreaming....
Rushed the hell outta the house and manage to pick Roy and reach ECP by 7am. Gd chance to try out my new intake too... low end was not affected, car's response does feel better and the lag while crossing over to the vtec point was minimised... Not bad...

Anyway, today's runner: Roy, Me, Leonard and Khim, Paul, Muzhong, Zongren and Junkai. OMP and mingkiat overseas, siswi's at service, easter mah today...

Today's run really shagged, although timing was maintain, but i'm half dead... even paul they all could tell... 3 weeks break is really too much... took me a long long time to cool down. Even as i type, my limbs are lifeless...

Juz after the run, it started drizzling... lucky us.. muz be heaven knows that we are serious and devoted runners so hold the rain till after our run... haha... if you haf the will, even heaven oso helps you... keke

After the run, sin loading... went old airport hawker to stuff ourselves... wah cannot lah hawker center after run.. sweating non stop... next time muz be air-con place... more conducive.

New Stuff...

Been spending suddenly... my own itchy backside to blame... wenting surfing the web yesterday and got self poisoned by a new racket which Ambert brings in. Ambert's my stringer as well. Knew him when i was looking for a SOTX racket... Affinity i suppose, we got along very well, he's 19 and he played extremely well. Ambert brought in a new brand - Zelm.. i kaypo kaypo surf surf look look, read the reviews and got gian... Ended up calling ambert, chatted alittle and ordered mine... haha my 6th racket now in possession. Jess faints... keke

This is wat i got as a package... Juz collected, can't wait to try it out.




After collecting my racket, Jess, mum ah gal and my gals are shopping in orchard... better siam... remembered Alphie's at AMK autopoint doing stuff to his car, called him to meet for lunch. During lunch, the workshop called him to go back to verify some things, headed back to Inspire with him... and nabei... Inspired myself... I was actually already thinking bout doing up my intake... so at the workshop, ask ask abit, chat chat abit... then ONZ LAH!!! Again my illness kicked in... self poisoning... Ended up doing my intake... Customised piping with HKS mushroom.

After installing, car does feel lighter, crossing over to vtec seems smoother, sucking sound of mushroom is sigificant and yet not irritating. I dun know, i mean i hope its not the post money spent sydrome that your mind automatically registers as got diff after the money is spent. Will need more time and more mileage to confirm and let the ecu adapts first. Feeling guilty, went over to Orchard, gave up the CTR meetup to accompany Jess... On the way back, Jess was commenting, "hey the car feels like more powerful and seems faster hor?" Sure bo? She's not even driving she can feel meh, she afirms it again and say yes.. Wah hear liao shiok... haha. Let me try it out summore before concluding.

Watched F&F4 juz now,

Vin Diesel and Paul Walker reteam for the ultimate chapter of the franchise built on speed - Fast & Furious 4. Heading back to the streets where it all began, they rejoin Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster to blast muscle, tuner and exotic cars across Los Angeles and floor through the Mexican desert in the new high-octane action-thriller. Personally i quite like the show, action packed from start to end, but if you are looking at hardcore street racing then you will be disappointed coz the ain't much. But lotsa fast driving though. Not much cars to see, only 2 imports, the GTR34 and the latest STi Hatch, the rest are all the muscles... Scale of 10 i would give it an 8. Its also a slight prequel to Tokyo Drift.

Urban running

Been at Grand Copthorne for the pass few days, have been hosting a conference over there, thats why i'm there all week... During this period, got to know alot bout the hotel as a guest... objectively, the rooms are small, view not very impressive, the buffet sucks and overpriced... Service is ok but everything else is overpriced. Dun even understand why is Grand Copthorne so expensive, nuthin special leh...

Anyway, after the conference, OMP, henrence, mingkiat, zongren and me decided to do some running... We start from Grand Copthorne -> Central mall -> Furama -> Central -> Funan -> Padang -> Esplanade -> Sg Flyer -> Pitstop -> Beachroad -> Bugis Juction -> Bras Brasah -> Carlton Hotel -> Hotel Rendevous -> Plaza Singapura -> Centrepoint -> Heeren -> Takashimaya -> Wisma -> Wheelock -> Great world city -> Grand Copthorne.

Its a new experience running along the busy streets, everchanging view, interaction between ppl, the hustle and bustle, the occasion breeze of air conditioning as you run pass the building entrances. Total distance ard 12km, but its a diff kind of running, with so many traffic lights it became more of a 12km interval running. Siong leh... not use to it but i like it!! Weaving through the crowd, challenging... Will be expecting more of this type of runs... Told leonard bout it, he dun seem very keen but khim is... haha
